Shawn Steen MD is happy to join the Charitable Applied Real Estate team!  Shawn is a board-certified surgeon with expertise in cancer surgery.  He has lived in Ventura County since 2009.  Currently he lives in Ventura with his wife and two boys and surfs and fishes as much as possible.  After years of his own real estate investing, he obtained his real estate license and quickly found he also loved helping others sell properties, buy dream homes, or find investment properties.  Shawn especially likes working with healthcare workers.  He teaches and trains resident doctors and medical students in Ventura.  His experience in managing complex medical patients in emotional situations translates well into being the detail-oriented and cool-headed agent needed in real estate.  His skills at teaching and training helps him guide his clients confidently through the home buying and selling process.  A long history working as a physician in the Ventura and Thousand Oaks area has afforded him many personal connections in the local community.  The values of CARE Realty resound with Shawn and he donates a portion of every commission to charity.  His favorite charities include Four Generations Foundation for first responders in Ventura County, Real Men Wear Pink for the American Cancer Society, and Metavivor for research and support for metastatic breast cancer.  Shawn looks forward to working with anybody who wants a trust-worthy and dedicated partner in their real estate ventures!
